Prerna Bhardwaj has over 10 years’ experience in broadcast and print media. She has been the Assistant Editor for a large global Indian magazine and has written for numerous others. In September 2017, Prerna was awarded with the Pride of India Award 2017 by the NRI Institute and in March 2017, Prerna was awarded with the Bharat Nirman Award for her contribution to India as a Non-Resident Indian. Prerna has been called to the Bar and was previously working for Goldman Sachs when she decided to leave and pursue her passion for journalism and politics. Vaahan was born out of the need for an independent news forum which would serve as a “vehicle of knowledge” for it’s readers. In addition to writing, Prerna broadcasts political shows on Nusound Radio 92FM interviewing eminent guests including top politicians and community leaders. Prerna has also appeared as an expert on Indian affairs and equality on numerous television channels and has presented for Indian news channel BTVI.
